SERVICES

For further details regarding our services, please feel free to contact the
clinic for a more in-depth description and explanation; or book an assessment with
one of our clinicians for a specific treatment plan customized to your individual needs.
  1. MANUAL THERAPY
The use of a physiotherapist's hands to mobilize or manipulate joints of the spine and extremities, increase movement in nerve tissue or facilitate flexibility and normal tone of muscles.
  2. ACUPUNCTURE
Use of sterile, 'one time only' use needles at specific points on the body to promote natural healing, reduce tension and improve function. No drug/medicine is injected. The needles alone create the beneficial effects.
  3. VESTIBULAR THERAPY
Dizziness is described as spinning or unsteadiness that can occur when standing still, lying down or when changing positions. Treatment can include head maneuvres, vision stability training, posture and balance retraining, neck mobility exercises and general fitness.
  4. DRY NEEDLING
A procedure using acupuncture needles to stimulate the muscle in the area of the body which produces pain & typically contains a trigger point. The muscle is stimulated through a pistoning movement of the needle to produce a muscle twitch and/or muscle relaxation.
  5. CONCUSSION REHABILITATION
Concussion treatments focus on spinal mobility, vestibular (inner ear) function, vision, memory and energy conservation. In-clinic and home exercises are an essential component to recovery, along with plan development to help manage work and home schedules.
  6. MASSAGE THERAPY
Massage therapy is an effective, hands on, treatment for acute, chronic and repetitive strain injuries. The therapeutics of massage enhance the body as a whole, promoting a general sense of well-being and aid in the prevention of illness and conditions.
  7. FUNCTIONAL TRAINING
Individualized conditioning program that uses neuromuscular and proprioceptive training style, focusing on multi-directional movement skill, speed, agility, transitional balance, reaction time, multi-joint strength, whole body power initiation and core stabilization.
  8. PEDORTHIC SERVICES
Custom foot orthotics are inserts that are placed in your shoes to support and re-position your feet. A clinical assessment is initially performed to determine whether orthotics would be beneficial. A 3-D cast of the foot is then created, from which the orthotic is fabricated.
  9. PELVIC HEALTH THERAPY
Urinary incontinence is a common problem in both men & women. Physiotherapy can help assess and treat issues related to pelvic floor muscle strength. Exercise programs, bladder retraining and muscle re-education are key factors in regaining control.
  10. IASTM
IASTM or Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization is a manual therapy approach to musculoskeletal injuries using specifically designed tools to assist in releasing myofascia, scar tissue and muscle tension.
  11. SILICONE CUPPING
Soft silicone cups are used for soft tissue manipulation based on the ancient methods of cupping, however, do not require pumps or matches/heat. They can be used very gently to provide a subtle lift to the skin and the first layer of fascia, helping with persistent superficial adhesions resulting from scar tissue formation after surgery or injury.
